Mezcal Verde Momento 750 ml

Mezcal Verde Momento is the approachable joven mezcal from Mezcal Amarás, made from Espadín agave in Oaxaca, Mexico. Each bottle carries one of a rotating series of labels designed by local artists, though the mezcal inside is the same.

Production follows traditional methods: the agave is roasted in an underground stone oven with woods such as oak, ocote and pirul, crushed by tahona and double-distilled in copper stills. Retailer K&L notes floral and herbal tones with measured smokiness, followed by cooked agave, spice and caramel sweetness and a mineral finish.

Its balanced smoke makes it a strong choice for mezcal margaritas and other cocktails, and it is easy enough to sip.
