El Silencio Mezcal Tamarindo 750 ml

El Silencio makes its mezcal in San Baltazar Guelavila, Oaxaca, under ninth-generation Maestro Mezcalero Pedro Hernández, and has become one of the best-known mezcal brands in the U.S. The Tamarindo takes its 100% agave mezcal and adds natural tamarind flavor, a classic Mexican pairing familiar from tamarind candies and agua de tamarindo.

The result is smoky, tart and slightly sweet: tangy tamarind up front, then a gentler smoke and earthy agave underneath. It's great chilled as a shot, with a chile-salt rim, or in a Margarita or Paloma when you want something fruit-forward.
