Marca Negra Dobadan Mezcal 750ml

Marca Negra Dobadán is a joven mezcal made from wild Agave rhodacantha, known locally in Zapotec as dobadán, by maestro mezcalero Alberto Ortiz in Santa María La Pila, Oaxaca. The agave is roasted in an earthen pit, milled by hand, and distilled in copper stills, and it is bottled at batch strength, which varies from release to release.

Look for cooked agave with molasses and brown sugar, green herbs, grapefruit peel, and light smoke leading to a sweet finish. Sip it neat at room temperature.
