Tequila Ocho Extra Añejo La Estancia 2022 750ml

Tequila Ocho Extra Añejo La Estancia 2022 is a single estate tequila made from 100% blue Weber agave harvested in 2022 from the La Estancia field in the highlands of Arandas, Jalisco. It is made by Carlos Camarena at La Alteña (NOM 1474), where the agave is cooked in brick ovens, fermented in open wooden tanks and double distilled in pot stills, then aged about three years in well-used ex-American whiskey barrels. It is bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof).

Expect roasted agave and vanilla with caramel, butterscotch and dried fruit, then cacao, cinnamon and gentle oak. Sip it neat at room temperature from a copita or snifter. 750 mL.
