El Tesoro Reposado Single Barrel Limited Edition Tequila Hombre Barrel Select 750 ML

El Tesoro is made by the Camarena family at La Alteña distillery in the highlands of Jalisco, and it is one of the most respected traditional tequilas made today. For the Single Barrel program, master distiller Carlos Camarena and Jenny Camarena hand-select individual barrels at peak maturity and bottle each one on its own, never blended.

As Carlos Camarena puts it, El Tesoro Single Barrel is too good to be blended. Each barrel is shaped by the season the agave was harvested and where the barrel rested in the cellar, so no two are identical. This bottling is a Hombre Barrel Select, one specific barrel chosen for this release.

Expect an agave-forward tequila softened by its time resting in oak, made the traditional way that has earned El Tesoro its following among tequila lovers. It is a reposado to sip neat or over a single ice cube, where the agave can speak for itself.
