Magia Extraña Extra Añejo 750 ml

Magia Extraña Extra Añejo is a 100% blue Weber agave tequila from Jalisco, made for slow sipping. The agave is cooked in traditional stone and brick ovens, crushed with a roller mill, fermented in stainless steel and distilled twice before resting in American white oak barrels.

As an extra añejo, it spends at least three years in wood, and that time shows. Tasters on Tequila Matchmaker pick up tobacco, leather and caramel on the nose, then cooked agave, orange peel, licorice and oak on the palate, with a peppery finish. Some compare its rich, wood-driven profile to cognac.

Pour it neat in a snifter or with a single large cube and give it a few minutes to open up.
