Lonely Oak Steeple Ridge Sweet Mash Rye is a straight rye whiskey made with a mash bill of 60% AC Hazlett rye and 40% Wapsie Valley corn. The distillery describes a hands-on approach that spans growing grain through bottling. This 750ml expression is bottled at 46% ABV, or 92 proof.

The producer states that the whiskey matures for more than two years before release. Its combination of rye and corn gives it a different grain foundation from a 100% rye whiskey. Serve it neat, add a splash of water, or pour it over ice; it can also anchor a rye-based classic cocktail.
