Frey Ranch Straight Rye Whiskey 750 ml

Frey Ranch Straight Rye Whiskey is made at Frey Ranch Farmers + Distillers in Fallon, Nevada, a fifth-generation family farm that grows, malts, distills, ages, and bottles its whiskey on the ranch, from grain grown in its own fields. The rye is made from 100% estate-grown rye, was first released in 2020 as a Bottled in Bond whiskey, at least four years old and bottled at 100 proof (50% ABV), and is non-chill filtered.

Intense rye spice and oak with vanilla and caramel on the nose, plus grapefruit zest, almond, and honey. The palate is full-bodied and buttery, with black pepper and ginger up front, and a long, lingering finish of honey, raisin, and cacao nibs. Best neat or with a drop of water, or in a Manhattan or Sazerac.
