Hard Truth Sweet Mash Rye Whiskey 113 Proof 750ml

Hard Truth Sweet Mash Rye is distilled, aged and bottled by Hard Truth Distilling Co. in Brown County, Indiana, from 94% rye and 6% malted barley. Every batch uses the sweet mash method, starting with all-fresh ingredients rather than backset, and the whiskey is aged in charred American oak and bottled uncut and unfiltered. This bottling is 56.5% ABV (113 proof).

Expect maple, stone fruit, honey and rye spice, then dark cherry, black pepper and brûléed sugar with a vanilla and clove finish. Sip it neat with a few drops of water or make a high-proof Manhattan. 750 mL.
