El Tesoro Anejo Yamazaki 750ml

El Tesoro Añejo Yamazaki is a limited release from the El Tesoro Mundial Collection, developed by Carlos Camarena and Suntory chief blender Shinji Fukuyo. The añejo tequila from Jalisco rested for 12 months in Yamazaki 12 Year Old casks, a one-time release for the brand. It is bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV).

Expect agave, minerals, oak, dried fruit, nuts, honey, and florals on the nose, then toasted almond, pecan, honey, warm spice, and hints of coffee and chocolate, with a long finish of sherry notes, red berries, clove, and pepper. Sip neat.
