Description
Throw Back Fernet is a California take on Italian-style fernet amaro from Black Market Spirits in Santa Barbara. It is made by small-batch maceration of 20 herbs and spices, distilled on a 150-gallon copper pot still, and bottled at 35% ABV (70 proof).
Expect herbal, chocolate and anise notes with a lingering mild cocoa bitterness. Sip it after dinner, or shake equal parts with Aperol for a Nineteens shot. 750 mL.
