Rhum Clement Bana Canne Liqueur 700ml

Bana Canne is a banana liqueur from Rhum Clément in Martinique, built on unaged rhum agricole, cane sugar syrup and a natural extract of semi-ripened bananas grown at the Habitation Clément estate. The bananas are extracted using low-energy green technologies, and the project was developed with Kadalys, a women-owned Martinican skincare company that works with surplus estate bananas.

Clément describes it as crystal clear, with banana, star anise and green vegetal notes and a rich, lasting finish. Tasting notes from importer Skurnik point to plantain, banana chips and pear skin on the nose and ripe banana with a dry, earthy finish. At 25% ABV it works well in tiki drinks, a rum and banana Old Fashioned, or the Banana Spritz the house recommends.
