Mackmyra Bjorksav Swedish Single Malt Whisky

Mackmyra Björksav is a Swedish single malt whisky matured in a mix of casks led by ex-birch sap wine casks, alongside ex-bourbon, ex-Oloroso sherry, Swedish oak, and ex-raspberry wine casks. It was a limited release of 15,000 bottles, bottled at 92.2 proof (46.1% ABV).

Master blender Angela D'Orazio describes it as floral and fruity with light spice and clear birch sap wine notes. Expect vanilla, honey, green apple, and lemon zest, then gingerbread, peach, and toasted hazelnut, with a long, spicy finish. Best neat or with a few drops of water.
