Description
Don Julio Ultima Reserva is an extra añejo tequila made from 100% Blue Weber agave harvested from the last agave field Don Julio González and his family planted, in 2006. It is aged 36 months, resting in barrels previously used for bourbon and finished in Madeira wine-seasoned casks, with the tequilas blended through a solera system. It is bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof).
Don Julio lists toasted oak and caramel on the nose, apricot and orange on the palate, and a honeyed agave finish. Sip it neat or on the rocks. 750 mL.
