Don Julio 70th Anejo 750 ml

Don Julio 70 was created to honor the 70th anniversary of the year Don Julio González began making tequila, and it debuted in the United States in 2011 as the world's first añejo claro. It bridges the depth of an aged tequila with the crisp look of a blanco.

The tequila rests for 18 months in American white oak barrels before being filtered through charcoal to strip away the color while keeping the character of the añejo. The result pours clear yet carries soft notes of vanilla, honey and toasted oak over cooked agave, finishing smooth and gently sweet.

Sip it neat or on the rocks to appreciate that balance, or use it to give a Margarita or tequila Old Fashioned a rounder, oak-kissed edge.
