Copalli Barrel Rested Rum 750 ml

Copalli Barrel Rested Rum is an organic, single-estate rum from the Copal Tree Distillery in the rainforest of southern Belize. It's made from fresh-pressed organic sugarcane juice, double distilled in a copper pot still, and rested for about six to eight months in used American oak bourbon barrels. It uses just four ingredients: organic sugarcane, rainforest canopy water, local yeast, and barrel wood. Bottled at 88 proof (44% ABV).

Aromas of caramel, vanilla, orange peel, honey, and cola, with a fresh cane character underneath. The palate has orange zest, green pepper, cinnamon, nutmeg, and baking spice, and the finish is creamy and lingering with allspice, cardamom, and white pepper. Sip it neat or over a large ice cube, or use it in a Mai Tai or Old Fashioned.
