Foursquare Convocation 14 year 750 ML

Foursquare Convocation is Mark XXVIII in the Barbados distillery's Exceptional Cask Selection series, a 14-year-old single blended rum from master distiller and blender Richard Seale. It marries two molasses rums, one from the double-retort pot still aged in ex-bourbon barrels and one from the twin-column Coffey still aged in ex-Madeira casks, and is bottled at 124 proof (62% ABV).

Expect vanilla, toasted coconut, pipe tobacco, and bergamot orange on the nose, with grapefruit peel, roasted macadamia, blackberry cobbler, and pineapple on the palate and a finish of taffy, salted caramel, and toffee. At full strength, a splash of water helps it open up.
