Bulleit 95 Rye 10 year 750 ML

Bulleit's 10 Year Rye takes the brand's high-rye recipe (95% rye, 5% malted barley) and gives it at least a decade in charred American white oak. According to Bulleit, that extra time brings deeper color, richer aromas and a lingering smoky quality compared with the standard rye.

The nose opens with caramel and toffee over clear rye character. On the palate, full-bodied rye spice meets pear-like fruit, sweet vanilla and dry, buttery oak. The finish is gentle spice and vanilla, ending on a hint of toasted oak. Bulleit describes it as exceptionally smooth, with a strong spice character and a crisp, clean finish.

It's a sipping rye first, great neat or with a single cube, and it also makes a very good Manhattan.
