Tezcazul Reposado Tequila 750ml

Tezcazul Reposado is an organic tequila made from 100% blue Weber agave grown in the Tequila Valley of Jalisco. The agave is cooked in stone and brick ovens, crushed with a roller mill, fermented in stainless steel tanks, and double distilled in a stainless pot still with a copper coil before resting in American white oak barrels.

The barrel makes itself known on the nose, with oak, white pepper, and baking spice leading into allspice, cardamom, ginger, and clove. The palate brings bold white pepper and butterscotch over cooked agave, with an oak-forward backbone and a hint of orange citrus toward the finish.

Sip it neat or over a large cube to enjoy the spice, or mix it into a reposado Paloma or Old Fashioned where the oak and pepper can shine.
