Description
Rémy Martin has been making Cognac since 1724. In 1927, Cellar Master André Renaud created the very first VSOP Cognac Fine Champagne, and this bottle carries that tradition forward. Like every Rémy Martin cognac, it is made only from grapes grown in Cognac's two most prized crus, Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne.
The young wine is distilled in copper stills and aged in French oak. The final blend brings together hundreds of eaux-de-vie, the youngest aged at least four years. Rémy Martin describes vanilla, dried apricot and candied pear on the nose, with dried fruit and a hint of delicate licorice on a silky palate.
Enjoy it neat, over ice, or in a Sidecar.
