Nikka Whisky Taketsuru Pure Malt 17 year old 700 ml

Nikka Taketsuru Pure Malt 17 Year Old is a Japanese blended malt whisky made from single malts from Nikka's Yoichi and Miyagikyo distilleries, aged at least 17 years. It is named for Masataka Taketsuru, Nikka's founder, and is bottled at 86 proof (43% ABV) in a 700 ml bottle.

Expect a lightly smoky, fruity nose with cigar box, eucalyptus, and vanilla, followed by a full-bodied palate of liquorice, honey, vanilla, and subtle smoke. The finish brings vanilla, mocha, and lingering spicy oak. Best neat or with a splash of water.
