Nikka The Grain 2023 750 ml

Nikka The Grain is a Japanese blended grain whisky and the third and final release in Nikka's Discovery series. It combines grain whiskies from four Nikka distilleries, with Coffey Grain from Miyagikyo at its core alongside reserved old Coffey Grain and Coffey Malt and experimental grain whiskies made from corn and rye, including the first grain distillates from the Moji and Satsumatsukasa distilleries. It is non-chill filtered and bottled at 96 proof (48% ABV).

Nikka describes a sweet aroma of toasted grains and cookies with hints of marmalade, cider, wood, and vanilla, followed by gentle cinnamon spice, the sweetness of corn, and a slightly bittersweet, refreshing finish. Sip it neat or with a splash of water.
