Kilchoman Loch Gorm 2023 Sherry Cask Edition 2023 750 ml

Kilchoman Loch Gorm 2023 is a peated Islay single malt matured entirely in ex-Oloroso sherry casks from Spain. This edition draws on 22 casks filled in 2013, 2014 and 2015, and is bottled at 92 proof (46% ABV), non chill-filtered and at natural color, in a run of 18,000 bottles.

Expect honey, vanilla, and golden syrup on the nose alongside bonfire ash, smoked meat, and sea spray, with grilled peach, apricot compote, charred toast, and building peat smoke on the palate before a peppery, ashy finish. Best neat or with a splash of water.
