Gran Centenario Reposado Tequila 750 ml

Gran Centenario traces its roots to 1857, when Lázaro Gallardo, a tavern owner in the town of Tequila, Jalisco, began making tequila. The brand launched officially in 1895. Gallardo is credited with the Selección Suave approach of blending oak-rested tequilas with longer-aged ones, and the Angel of Independence on the bottle dates to a 1920s design by his son Luciano.

The Reposado is double-distilled in copper pot stills from 100% blue Weber agave cooked in brick ovens and rested in new oak barrels. Drinkers describe caramel and floral aromas, sweet agave and gentle spice, and a smooth, medium body with a mild, lingering finish. It is an easy, versatile reposado for sipping or for margaritas and palomas.
