El Dorado Cask Strength Single Still Port Mourant 750ml

El Dorado Cask Strength Single Still Port Mourant is a Guyanese rum from Demerara Distillers at Diamond Distillery, distilled from molasses on the Port Mourant double wooden pot still, first built in 1732. It is aged 12 years in ex-bourbon casks and bottled undiluted at 113.4 proof (56.7% ABV).

Expect cocoa powder, vanilla cream, clove, and oak char on the nose, with jammy red fruit, toasted coconut, and cherry tobacco on the palate and a long, leathery finish with burnt caramel. Sip it neat or with a few drops of water.
