Del Bac Old Pueblo 750 ml

Old Pueblo is the unaged, mesquite-smoked single malt from Whiskey Del Bac in Tucson, Arizona. It starts with two-row barley that the distillery malts and smokes over a velvet mesquite fire. The barley is then mashed, fermented, distilled in copper pots and bottled on site. It is never sourced and never chill filtered.

Because it is bottled clear without barrel time, the mesquite smoke and malt come through directly. Del Bac describes a nose of desert campfire and dried ancho chili, and a palate of rounded white chocolate balanced by minerality.

Pour it neat to taste what Sonoran Desert mesquite brings to malt whiskey, or use it in place of a white spirit in cocktails for a smoky twist.
