Del Bac Classic Unsmoked 750 ml

Whiskey Del Bac comes from Hamilton Distillers in Tucson, Arizona, a grain-to-bottle distillery best known for mesquite-smoked single malts. Del Bac Classic is the unsmoked expression, letting the malt and the Sonoran Desert climate speak for themselves.

It's made from two-row barley, twice distilled in a copper pot still, and aged in a mix of 15- and 30-gallon medium-char, medium-toast barrels. The dry desert heat drives fast interaction with the oak. The nose brings charred oak, peach, passion fruit and clove, followed by a spicy, mineral palate with grilled peach, toasted oats and allspice.

Bottled without chill filtration, it's a great introduction to American single malt and a standout for anyone curious how whiskey matures in the desert. Try it neat or with a few drops of water.
