Corralejo Tequila Reposado 750 ml

Corralejo Reposado comes from the historic Hacienda Corralejo in Pénjamo, Guanajuato, whose distilling roots go back to the 1770s. It is the brand's best seller and easy to spot on the shelf in its tall, cobalt blue bottle, made by the company from recycled glass.

Blue agave is slow-cooked in stone clay ovens, fermented, then distilled using a Charentais-style mix of copper alembic pots and column stills. The tequila then rests in American oak until the master blender judges it ready. Reviewers note an approachable profile of caramel and butterscotch with light fruity agave and mild white pepper.

It's a versatile reposado: smooth enough to sip, and a great upgrade in margaritas and palomas.
