Description
Port Charlotte SC:01 2012 is a heavily peated single malt Scotch from Bruichladdich on Islay, distilled in 2012 from 100% Islay-grown barley peated to 40 PPM. It was matured in ex-sherry butts and ex-American whiskey barrels, then recasked into Sauternes wine casks, and bottled at 9 years old at 55.2% ABV without chill filtration or added coloring.
Expect golden apple, apricot, candied ginger and barbecue smoke. Drink it neat or with a splash of water. 750 mL.
