Aberfeldy 12 Year Old Gold Bar Gift Pack 750ml

Aberfeldy was built in 1896 by John Dewar & Sons in the small Highland town of Aberfeldy, near the River Tay. It draws its water from the Pitilie Burn, a stream known for traces of gold, and this limited Gold Bar gift pack puts the 12 Year Old in a gold-bar-shaped box that nods to that story.

The single malt is distilled in copper pot stills and matured in a mix of casks, including ex-bourbon. The official notes describe incense and heather honey on the nose with pineapple, toast and cereal, a full, syrupy palate, and a dry, spicy finish with a hint of Seville orange. The 12 Year Old won Gold at the 2015 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
