Wyoming Whiskey Small Batch Bourbon 750 ml

Wyoming Whiskey Small Batch Bourbon is the flagship of the state's first legal distillery, based in Kirby, Wyoming. It is a wheated bourbon, made from locally grown grains and water drawn from a mile-deep limestone aquifer, then aged through the dramatic temperature swings of the high plains.

The nose opens with raisin, cherry, cornbread, and a light floral note. On the palate, sweet raisin, brown sugar, and caramel meet darker notes of tobacco and toasted oak, and the medium-length finish turns drier as the wood takes over. It drinks brighter than its 88 proof would suggest.

Pour it neat or with a splash of water to open it up, or use it in an Old Fashioned where the wheat keeps things soft.
