Description
Wolves and Willett Family Estate come together in The Rye Project, Volume One, Batch 2, a blend of straight rye whiskeys from Kentucky and Indiana. Released at cask strength, this 750ml bottling is 57.35% ABV, or 114.7 proof. It is the second batch of Volume One, distinct from the earlier 103-proof release.
Fruit and rye spice shape the profile, with apricot, peach and raisin alongside anise and oak. A substantial texture carries the flavors into a long, spicy finish. Serve a small measure neat, then add a little water to explore how its fruit and spice develop.
