Willie's Montana Choke Cherry 750ml

Willie's Distillery in Ennis, Montana makes this liqueur from chokecherries, the tart wild cherry that grows in the foothills of the region. The distillery sources the fruit locally, harvesting near the distillery, on its own property and from members of the community.

The result is sweet and tart, with the bright, slightly puckering character chokecherry fans know from homemade syrups and jams. At 50 proof it is easy to sip chilled, and it adds a regional Montana twist to cocktails, from a splash in sparkling wine to a cherry-forward whiskey sour.
