The Macallan Highland Scotch Whisky Litha Sherry Cask 700ml

The Macallan Litha is a single malt Scotch whisky matured in sherry-seasoned oak casks from Jerez de la Frontera, Spain. The name comes from the Celtic word for the summer solstice, meaning light. Bottled in a 700ml size at 80 proof (40% ABV).

Expect butterscotch, vanilla, and chocolate with citrus and tropical fruit on the nose, a palate of vanilla, berry compote, toasted oak, wood spice, salted caramel, and pecan, and a medium finish of fruit, vanilla, and oak. Good neat or with a splash of water.
