The Glenlivet 12 Year Single Malt Scotch 750ml

The Glenlivet 12 Year Old is a Speyside single malt Scotch from The Glenlivet Distillery in Banffshire, founded by George Smith in 1824 as the first legal distillery in the parish. It is matured for at least 12 years, first in European oak and then in American oak, which adds vanilla and a signature smoothness, and is made with water from Josie's Well. Bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV).

Fruity and summery on the nose with pear, ripe pineapple, and floral notes. The palate is well balanced with pineapple, orchard fruit, and vanilla, and the finish is long, creamy, and smooth. A classic introduction to Speyside single malts, good neat, with a drop of water, or in a cocktail.
