St. George Absinthe Verte 750ml

St. George Absinthe Verte is made by St. George Spirits in Alameda, California. Wormwood, fennel and star anise are macerated in brandy and distilled in a copper pot still, then the distillate is infused with mint, tarragon, Genovese basil, lemon balm, hyssop and stinging nettles. It has no artificial coloring and is bottled at 60% ABV.

The producer describes spicy black licorice moving into citrus and fresh grass, with a hint of sarsaparilla.

Serve it with slowly dripped cold water, or use it as a rinse in a Sazerac. 750 mL.
