Description
Singani 63 is a Bolivian grape brandy made by the family-owned Casa Real distillery and brought to the US by filmmaker Steven Soderbergh, who first tried singani while filming in Bolivia. Singani is Bolivia's national spirit, made only from Muscat of Alexandria grapes grown in the Andes at a minimum elevation of about 5,200 feet, and distilled in Cognac-style alembic stills. The name refers to Soderbergh's birth year. Bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV).
A very aromatic, floral spirit with notes of frangipani, hibiscus, sandalwood, citrus zest, and fresh ginger, and a palate of citrus, lemongrass, and galangal. Sip it neat or chilled, or use it as a base for a Chuflay (singani with ginger ale and lime) or other cocktails.
ABV: 40.0%
Bottle Size: 750 ml
