Peychaud's Aperitivo 750 ml

Peychaud's name goes back to Antoine Amédée Peychaud, the New Orleans apothecary whose bitters helped shape the Sazerac cocktail. In 2016 the Sazerac Company, which owns the Peychaud's brand, launched Peychaud's Aperitivo in New Orleans as a bright, versatile aperitivo for spritzes and mixed drinks.

It pours a vivid red similar to Aperol. Reviewers at Drinkhacker found bitter orange, a touch of cherry and hints of caramel on the nose, with mandarin and a soft sweetness on the palate before a gentle, quinine-like bitterness builds on the finish. At just 11% ABV it is light enough for daytime drinking.

Use it in a spritz with prosecco and soda, swap it into a Negroni variation, or simply pour it over ice with a twist of orange.
