Description
Overture 2022 is the second wine of Opus One, a Bordeaux-style red blended from selected parcels of the estate vineyards in Oakville, Napa Valley. The 2022 is 94% Cabernet Sauvignon with Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Malbec, and Petit Verdot, at 14.5% ABV.
The winery notes bright cherry, forest berries, cut rose stems, violets, toasted almond, and anise, with blackberry, blueberry, and wild cherry on a palate of lively acidity and a finish of mocha and black tea. Opus One says it will age gracefully for years.
