Old Forester Single Barrel 100 Proof Bourbon Whiskey Selection J-7 750 ml

This is a hand-picked barrel from Old Forester's Single Barrel 100 Proof program, labeled Selection J-7. Every bottle in the program comes from one cask, so each barrel has its own character. All of it is Kentucky straight bourbon bottled at 100 proof and made from Old Forester's classic mash bill of 72% corn, 18% rye and 10% malted barley.

Old Forester single barrels are known for rich caramel, brown sugar and vanilla, with cherry, fruit and toasted oak spice. The exact profile of Selection J-7 depends on its barrel. The 100 proof strength brings more depth and flavor than the standard bottlings.

A splash of water or a large cube will help it open up. Because every single barrel release is limited, this one will not be around for long.
