Larceny Small Batch Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey 750 ml

Larceny Small Batch is a wheated Kentucky straight bourbon from Heaven Hill, named for John E. Fitzgerald, a Treasury agent who was said to use his keys to the rickhouses to help himself to the best barrels. The mash bill is 68% corn, 20% wheat, and 12% malted barley, blended from small batches of barrels and bottled at 92 proof (46% ABV).

Brown sugar, toffee, vanilla, and butterscotch on the nose with a hint of almond. The palate is honeyed caramel with black pepper, nutmeg, and cinnamon, and the finish brings maple syrup and toasty oak. Soft and easy to sip neat, and a good base for an Old Fashioned.
