Description
La Higuera Texanum is a sotol from Aldama, Chihuahua, made by master sotolero Gerardo Ruelas from the Dasylirion texanum plant. The hearts are cooked in conical wood-and-rock ovens, milled by hand, fermented with wild yeast in pine vats and double distilled in copper alembic stills. It is bottled at 49.9% ABV.
Expect dried grass, minerals, light smoke and caramel. Sip it neat at room temperature. 750 mL.
