Knob Creek Kentucky Straight American Rye 10 Yr 750ml

Knob Creek 10 Year Rye is the longest-aged rye in the Knob Creek lineup, a step up from the brand's 7 year rye. It is made by Knob Creek Distilling Company in Clermont, Kentucky, and bottled at 100 proof.

A full decade in the barrel gives it a tawny copper color and a deep, layered profile. Knob Creek lists a nose of rich caramel and vanilla, deep rye spice and dried apple. On the palate come black peppercorn, creamy vanilla and caramel, and hints of deep oak and char, finishing with smooth, lingering baking spice.

At 100 proof it has plenty of backbone for a Manhattan or Old Fashioned, and it is just as good neat or on a large cube.
