Keepers Heart Irish and American Finished in Stout Barrels S1B57 700 ml

Keeper's Heart Irish + American Stout Barrel Finish S1B57 is a limited-edition, single-barrel expression from O'Shaughnessy Distilling Co., made under world-renowned master distiller Brian Nation (formerly of Jameson, Redbreast, and Midleton). It blends Irish grain and single pot still whiskeys with American rye, then finishes the blend in a stout beer barrel, which adds creaminess and coffee-chocolate notes. Bottled at cask strength, around 57 to 58% ABV (114 to 116 proof).

Deep florals, baking spice, and mocha on the nose, with crème brûlée, honey, and butterscotch. The palate brings candied ginger, vanilla, stewed fruit, dark chocolate, and pastry, and the finish is rich, with caramel, charred oak, white pepper, and leather. Best neat or with a few drops of water.
