Iylia Moscatel Macabeo 2020 750 ml

Iylia is a family-owned wine brand from Spain founded by Layla-Joy Williams, who came to wine after more than 20 years in fashion production. Iylia describes its wines as ecologically produced from grapes grown on site where the wine is made. The brand supports DeliverFund, a nonprofit that fights human trafficking.

This 2020 white blends Moscatel and Macabeo from eastern Spain. The Moscatel adds fruit and floral aromatics and the Macabeo adds freshness and lift. It's finished in stainless steel to keep it crisp, and published notes point to ripe lemon, sorbet and lychee on the nose, with a bright, fruity palate and a clean finish.

Serve it well chilled as an aperitif, or pair it with seafood, salads or mildly spiced dishes.
