Iylia Monastrell 2020 750 ml

Iylia Monastrell 2020 is a Spanish red wine made from Monastrell (known in France as Mourvèdre), a sun-loving grape grown in the warm southeastern vineyards of Spain. The 2020 vintage is bold and fruit-forward, with a full body, balanced acidity, and firm tannins, at about 14% ABV.

Aromas of blackberry, black plum, and a hint of licorice with subtle earthy notes. The palate is rich and full-bodied, with ripe black cherry, dark berries, and a touch of peppery spice, and the finish is long and velvety. Serve lightly cool at about 60 to 65°F with grilled lamb, barbecue, hearty stews, or aged cheese.
