Green River TopFlight Series S3B19 Single Barrel 750 ML

Green River Distilling in Owensboro, Kentucky revived one of the state's historic bourbon names, and its single barrel releases show off the distillery's whiskey without any blending. Each bottle is drawn from one barrel selected from Green River's warehouses, and this TopFlight Series bottling is barrel S3B19.

Green River's single barrel bourbons are bottled at full cask strength, so the proof varies from barrel to barrel; check the label for this barrel's exact figure. The distillery describes its rye-forward Single Barrel Bourbon as showing vanilla and graham cracker with orange peel, fresh mint and black pepper, finishing with rye spice, herbal tea and soft oak. Every barrel has its own personality, which is the fun of a single barrel pick.

At full proof, try it neat first, then add a few drops of water or a large ice cube to see how the flavors open up.
