Great King St Glasgow Blend 750 ml

Glasgow Blend is part of Compass Box's Great King Street range. First released in 2014, it pays homage to the full-bodied, flavor-packed blends that Glasgow drinkers once preferred. About 65% of the blend is Highland and Islay single malt, and the rest is Lowland grain whisky. It is matured in Sherry-seasoned butts, American oak barrels and hogsheads, and custom French oak casks.

Compass Box calls it full, bold and smoky, with rich spice and fruitcake notes from the Sherry casks alongside the maritime punch of Islay malt. It is bottled at 43% ABV with natural color and no chill filtration. The label shows Glasgow's Wellington statue wearing its famous traffic cone.
