Gold Spot Single Pot Still Irish Generations Edition 700 ml

Gold Spot The Generations Edition is a 13 year old single pot still Irish whiskey from Midleton, made for the Spot range that the Mitchell family has looked after for seven generations. It was matured in bourbon and sherry casks, then finished for 16 months in Valpolicella Classico wine casks from Italy's Speri family. This 700ml bottle is 92 proof (46% ABV).

Expect dark fleshy fruit, blossom, cloves, and almonds on the nose, followed by red berry compote, toffee apple, raisin, soft tannins, and pot still spice on the palate, with a long, sweet, oaky finish. Best neat or on the rocks.
