Description
George T. Stagg is the barrel-proof bourbon of the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection, released once a year. The 2023 release was distilled in spring 2008 and aged about 15 years and 3 months in new charred white oak barrels, then bottled uncut and unfiltered at 135 proof (67.5% ABV).
Buffalo Trace notes aromas of cinnamon and cherry cola, a palate of leather, chocolate and vanilla frosting, and a robust, earthy finish.
Sip it neat or with a few drops of water. 750 mL.
